I’m having iSight scanning problems
If you're having difficulty scanning, make sure you have plenty of light, and try to reduce the amount of glare on the object you’re scanning. To find the best place to scan, start off by holding the item very close to the camera — just a few inches away. Slowly move the item away from the camera, and at some point, you’ll find a “sweet spot” at which most items will scan almost instantly. If you’re still having problems scanning, try tilting the item — that will sometimes reduce glare and make scanning easier.
If your video-feed window is black, and you’re unable to scan anything, you most likely have a corrupted plist.
To fix your iSight:
Close Delicious Library 2.
Find the Delicious Library 2 plist, it’s here in your home folder: ~ / Library / Preferences / com.delicious-monster.library2.plist.
Drag this file into your trash, then relaunch Delicious Library 2. A new plist will be generated to replace the one you just deleted.
Select idea Camera Barcode Scanner from the Window menu and your camera should be fixed.
